A foundation built on showing up for people.
Mackline & Friends Foundation started with a simple idea: that a visit, a meal, or a listening ear can change someone's day — and sometimes their whole outlook.

People helping people.
We exist to bring people together in support of children, families and vulnerable members of society. What began as informal visits to children's homes grew into an organized effort to reach more people, more consistently, with more care.
We are not a large institution. We are neighbours, friends and volunteers who believe that community support should be practical, dignified and ongoing — not a one-time gesture.
Mission, vision and values.
Practical, consistent care
To bring hope, compassion and practical support to children, families and communities that need it most, through regular visits and outreach.
Communities that care for each other
A society where no child feels forgotten and no family faces hardship without a community standing beside them.
Show up, listen, support
We prioritize presence over promises — visiting, listening, and following up so support is felt over time, not just once.
Community by community
We work closely with children's homes and neighbourhoods, growing our reach as trust and resources allow.
What we carry into every visit.
These values shape how our volunteers show up, speak, and follow through.
Compassion
We meet people where they are, without judgment.
Dignity
Support is offered in a way that respects every person's worth.
Community
We believe change happens when people work together.
Hope
We hold space for better days, even in hard seasons.
Action
Good intentions are only useful when they turn into a visit, a meal, or a helping hand.
